Integrity
We advise with candour — even when the honest answer is not the easy one.
From a two-advocate chambers on Moi Avenue to one of Mombasa’s most trusted full-service firms — this is our story.
Majanja Law was established in 2004 with a single conviction: that every client — individual or institution — deserves the same rigour, candour and fighting spirit that the law itself demands of its practitioners.
Over twenty years later, that conviction still governs every brief we accept. Our advocates have appeared before the Magistracy, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Kenya, as well as tribunals, arbitral panels and regulatory bodies. Yet we remain, at heart, a chambers practice: approachable, meticulous and personally invested in each client’s outcome.
Today the firm serves clients across Kenya and the wider East African region — from families safeguarding their futures to enterprises navigating complex commercial terrain.
Meet Our AdvocatesWe advise with candour — even when the honest answer is not the easy one.
Deadlines are sacred. Every file is prepared as though it will be tested at trial.
We listen first. Strategy is built with you, in language you understand.
From a simple affidavit to a Supreme Court appeal, the standard never drops.
D.I. Majanja is admitted to the Roll of Advocates and opens a two-room practice on Moi Avenue, Mombasa, taking on general civil and criminal briefs.
Rising demand from property and business clients leads to a dedicated conveyancing and commercial department — now one of the firm’s largest practices.
The firm moves into its own offices — Majanja Law, 5th Floor, Moi Avenue — and welcomes its first partners, expanding to eight practice areas.
Cross-border briefs begin flowing from Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, with the firm advising on East African commercial and arbitration matters.
Over 1,500 matters resolved, a 98% client satisfaction record, and a team of advocates united by the same covenant that opened our doors in 2004.
A disciplined, transparent process — so you always know where your matter stands.
We listen to your situation in confidence, review your documents and give an honest preliminary assessment.
Our advocates research the law and facts, map your options and recommend the strongest course of action.
You receive a clear engagement letter, transparent fees and a defined strategy with realistic timelines.
We execute relentlessly — in court, at the negotiating table or before a tribunal — until your matter is resolved.
Initial consultations are confidential and without obligation.
